QUINCY, MASS., September 1, 2026 – The Transition Board of Eastern Nazarene College today voted to officially recognize the Eastern Nazarene College Alumni Association, an independent nonprofit organization formed to preserve the community, legacy, and relationships of ENC.
“The Transition Board is grateful to the ENC alumni who have stepped forward to lead the ENC Alumni Association,” said Dr. David W. Bowser, Chair of the ENC Transition Board. “Their work will help preserve the traditions, relationships, and faith heritage of the college well into the future.”
The Association, led by Manager/Director Scott Turcott and an advisory council of alumni representing a range of backgrounds and class years, will focus on alumni communications, fellowship events, networking, and historical preservation, with support from ENC’s custodian of record, Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
“ENC may be closing, but the community it formed is not,” said Scott Turcott, Manager/Director of the Eastern Nazarene College Alumni Association. “This organization exists to ensure that the friendships, faith, and shared history of ENC have a home going forward. We are grateful for the Board’s recognition and look forward to serving alumni and friends of Eastern Nazarene for years to come.”
